Devin Hensley
Co-Founder | Engineering & Product Development
Devin brings nearly two decades of engineering and product-development experience to SME Campers, with the majority of his career spent in the boating industry.
His experience includes engineering and product-development roles with MasterCraft, Nautique, and Yamaha Jet Boat Manufacturing, where he has developed products from initial concept through design, testing, and production. His work spans composite structures, mechanical systems, advanced CAD, prototyping, and manufacturing.
That experience shapes the way Devin approaches SME Campers: design with purpose, engineer for real-world use, and never compromise on the details.
At SME, he brings an engineering-first mindset to building campers that are capable, refined, and made to be used—not just admired.
Zach Follett
Co-Founder | Industrial Design & Product Development
Zach brings a background in industrial design and marine product development to SME Campers, with experience designing products for some of the most respected names in the boating industry.
His career began with a focus on boat design, including work with MasterCraft, NauticStar, Aviara, Burger Boat Company, Facheris Design, and Argos Nautic. His experience spans everything from luxury yachts and performance boats to detailed product and component design.
At SME, Zach focuses on the relationship between form, function, and the user experience—creating products that are not only capable, but thoughtfully designed and visually refined.
Together with Devin's engineering background, Zach brings a design-driven perspective to SME Campers, helping turn ideas into products that are as purposeful as they are distinctive.
